Senior Posters are a memorable keepsake for each student. They can be a collage of your entire student's life or just their high school career. Posters are hung before graduation ceremony for the public to view and it is yours to take home after the party. The requirements are: 1) size must be 23w x 29h" (22 x 28 will also work) VERTICAL design layout only 2) can be digital or handmade but cannot be 3-dimensional because of lamination requirement. (see below for ideas to create digitally) If you are making a handmade poster, you can pick up a free 23 x 29" poster board from Cornerstone Copy (McAndrews Road, just west of Valley Natural Foods) 3) must be laminated (Cornerstone Copy will do this for $10.00 (plus tax) and turn your poster in for you to the poster committee) 4) must have student's name and school name shown 5) Label the back of your poster with Student's full name, high school name, and a phone number 6) turn in to Poster Committee by June 1st, or to Cornerstone Copy by June 4th. Make a "Focus in Pix" Poster using your PC or Mac computer Focus in Pix is a FREE software application provided by Cornerstone Copy Center. You will find loads of pre-designed graduation poster templates, including many AVHS designs - OR you can use your own design. Easily add pictures, text, high school logos, and more. After you are finished creating your poster design, the application will guide you in placing your order, paying for, and uploading your poster project to Cornerstone so it can be printed. Posters must be submitted electronically to Cornerstone by June 2nd at 4:30pm to be printed in time for Graduation Poster pick up on Friday.
Go to www.focusinpix.com to download and install Focus in Pix software for either PC or Mac. (Tip: give yourself plenty of lead time to download this software)
Finished posters can be dropped off at Cornerstone Copy Center before 4:30pm on June 4th. Finished posters can also be turned in at Apple Valley High School in the Main Office between Tuesday, June 2n - Thursday June 4th.
